PD Park Hyung-keun shared his thoughts on the 700th episode of ‘Immortal Songs’.
On the afternoon of the 17th, a commemorative meeting for the 700th episode of KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’ was held at KBS’s new building in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. PDs Park Hyung-keun, Kim Hyung-seok, and Choi Seung-beom, along with Kim Jun-hyeon and Lee Chan-won, attended the event.
PD Park Hyung-keun said, “MC Shin Dong-yeop had to miss this event due to a recording for another program this morning,” and asked for understanding.
He continued, “There is a weight to the 700th episode. There are many music programs that cover various genres, but I think it is meaningful that we have been able to encompass different generations and genres for 14 years. I also did the 600th episode, and my feelings are the same as back then. I see this as a new starting point to think about the direction of the program as we head towards the 800th episode.”
PD Park Hyung-keun hinted that “the three MCs are preparing a special stage. Excellent artists will be doing the chorus,” raising expectations.
Kim Jun-hyeon added, “We three MCs will have Heo Gak, Shin Yong-jae, and Lim Han-byeol as our chorus. They graciously agreed to join us, and we are very grateful.”
‘Immortal Songs’, which first aired in 2011, will celebrate its 700th episode by airing ‘Legends of Seven’ over two weeks on April 5 and 12. Choi Baek-ho, Kim Chang-wan, The Blue, Yoon Jong-shin, YB, Jaurim, and Gummy will join as ‘Legends of Seven’. It will be broadcast every Saturday at 6:05 PM.
