Park Young-kyu shared his thoughts on appearing in the sitcom 'The Land of Villains.'

On the afternoon of the 12th, a production presentation for KBS2's new drama 'The Land of Villains' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Seoul. Director Kim Young-jo and actors Oh Na-ra, So Yoo-jin, Seo Hyun-cheol, Song Jin-woo, Park Young-kyu, and Choi Ye-na attended.

Park Young-kyu said, "I started 'Hospital Ship' in 1998. It's already been 27 years. In the past, I was looking for a father-in-law, but now I have become one. Time changes the roles of actors. I have two grown daughters and have reached the age where I have grandchildren."

He continued, "During that time, I have thought a lot about how the comedy I possess can mix with life and how I can bring joy at this age. While working together, I had many thoughts, but fortunately, I met good actors like Oh Na-ra, So Yoo-jin, Seo Hyun-cheol, and Song Jin-woo. Watching the director's direction and filming, I felt nervous as an adult, as a father, and as a father-in-law, but I was able to relax because I was with the director and good actors. This time, I have a feeling that the hard work and tension will lead to good results, and I can provide fun and beneficial laughter."

Additionally, Park Young-kyu humorously commented on taking the role of Oh Young-kyu, saying, "I became Oh Young-kyu by inheriting the 'Oh' from Oh Na-ra. Actors must adapt to the passage of time. I am happy and grateful to meet a warm, beautiful, and talented daughter."

'The Land of Villains' is a situational comedy drama that captures the sometimes rough yet warm daily lives of K-Zoomma sisters and their quirky families, and it will air on the 19th at 9:50 PM.
