Jeon Seong-cho (35), a former child actor who appeared in the children’s drama ‘Fairy Commi’ and is now a translator, announced her pregnancy news.

On the 1st, Jeon Seong-cho posted on her social media, “2024 has been a tumultuous year. Exactly one year ago around this time, I lost my honeymoon baby at 17 weeks, and now, after a year, I’m finally coming out with my pregnancy news.”

Jeon Seong-cho said, “Right after getting married, there were so many ups and downs that I don’t even know how I spent 2024. I also set a record of traveling abroad 12 times in a year. While I worry that I may have neglected the people around me, I think I wanted to be a bit selfish this past year because it was so tough. After getting married, I wanted to focus more on myself and my partner within our new boundaries, and looking back, I think we’ve been living well.”

She continued, “When I lost my child a year ago, I struggled with lethargy for a while. Especially in times like these when sad news is rampant, I often feel fear about the future. I don’t know what awaits us in the new year, but just like last year, I believe my partner and I can face everything together.”

She added, “I found out I was pregnant during a trip to Sydney, Australia, so I named the baby ‘Sydney.’ Sydney, let’s do our best together.”

In the photos shared, Jeon Seong-cho is seen smiling with her husband while holding a pregnancy test. She also revealed an ultrasound photo.

Jeon Seong-cho starred as the main character Super Commi in the KBS2 drama ‘Fairy Commi,’ which aired from 2000 to 2002. She is currently working as a translator. She married a non-celebrity man last September.
