Comedian Kim Young-chul has transformed into a singer.
On the 7th, Kim Young-chul appeared on the 'I Will Sing' segment of the YouTube channel 'Sung Si-kyung' and passionately performed his new song 'What If I Say', released in January.
On that day, Kim Young-chul talked about music with Sung Si-kyung before singing.
Kim Young-chul, who has been serious about music for a long time and wanted to try ballads, revealed, "Actually, I rejected (Yoon) Jong-shin's song twice. It really didn't suit me." To this, Sung Si-kyung responded, "For someone like you, ballads are the starting point, right? Then having a name like Yoon Jong-shin is very important. And he is a producer, after all. He takes responsibility for the quality of the song," expressing regret over Kim Young-chul's rejection of the song.
Kim Young-chul later regretted, saying, "I was crazy. But it wasn't the feeling I wanted. But he insisted we should work together this year. At that time, the demo song Jong-shin played for me wasn't my style."
In response, Sung Si-kyung joked, "Jong-shin is the worst at judging demos. Whether the demo is good or not is not something he should be deciding," bringing laughter.
