Choi Hyun-seok claimed that he was scammed regarding employment while participating in ‘Jungle Bob 2’.
On the afternoon of the 27th, a production presentation for the SBS entertainment program ‘Jungle Bob 2 - Peru Food, Caribbean Food’ was held at SBS in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, with PD Han Bi-in, Ryu Ji-hwan, Ryu Soo-young, Choi Hyun-seok, Kim Ok-bin, Choi Daniel, Yoon Nam-no, and Lee Joon in attendance.
On this day, Choi Hyun-seok stated, “I took on the expertise and professional part in ‘Peru Food’. It’s not a travel program, but more like a documentary about extreme employment. They clearly told me it was a gourmet trip, but I ended up filming in the experience jungle.”
He continued, “It was physically tough and challenging, but I don’t know if the good memories I have after returning are a remedy or a poison. After coming back, I was still upset, but as the bug bites healed, my heart became a bit lighter. I thought I would never do this again, but it was a trip that I miss after some time.”
Meanwhile, ‘Jungle Bob’ is a ‘taste-earning’ travelogue that crosses the boundaries of labor and gourmet, where participants dig, catch, and cook in the unknown jungle. Season 2 will showcase the grand adventure of ‘food production’ in Peru, which encompasses the Amazon and highlands, and the Dominican Republic, a paradise of fresh seafood from the Caribbean. The first broadcast is scheduled for 9 PM on the 27th.
