'The Land of Villains' has released a second teaser video that promises amazing chemistry.
Set to premiere in March, KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday sitcom 'The Land of Villains' (directed by Kim Young-jo and Choi Jung-eun, written by Chae Woo and Park Kwang-yeon) is a situational comedy-drama that captures the sometimes rough yet warm daily lives of K-Zoomma sisters and their quirky family.
Following the first teaser and teaser poster that showcased a delightful family life, the second teaser video released on the 25th begins with a passionate kiss between Oh Yu-jin (played by So Yu-jin) and Song Jin-woo (played by Song Jin-woo). Then, Seo Hyun-cheol (played by Seo Hyun-cheol) seems to have seen something he shouldn't have and covers his mouth, while Oh Na-ra (played by Oh Na-ra) is shocked, saying, "Hong Kong? With a man?" Additionally, when the drunken daughter Seo In-ah (played by Han Sung-min) comes in being carried by a man, Na-ra is furious. The spicy storyline of these characters already stimulates viewers' desire to watch.
Na-ra captures the fleeing Kwon Hee (played by Choi Ye-na) and engages in a tense standoff. Watching this, her son Seo Young-hoon (played by Jung Min-kyu) questions, "Is she really my mom's daughter?" Later, Won-hee wipes the blood flowing from Young-hoon's nose and makes some sort of deal to help him date someone. Curiosity grows about Won-hee's actions as she maintains a close relationship with Na-ra's family.
Cracks begin to appear in the relationships among the family members. Choi Kwang-ja (played by Shin Shin-ae) confronts her ex-husband Oh Young-kyu (played by Park Young-kyu) with a fierce attitude. Na-ra and Yu-jin repeatedly try to stop their fight. The curiosity about what stories lie behind the family’s war-like conflicts adds to the drama. Additionally, the scenes of Na-ra and Yu-jin crying, along with the first son-in-law Hyun-cheol throwing a fit and Young-kyu showcasing his chaotic chemistry, hint at the return of an unprecedented comedic drama.
Na-ra and Yu-jin display a delightful back-and-forth with their family, heightening the anticipation of potential viewers. As a sitcom that promises to fill living rooms with laughter emerges, expectations rise for 'The Land of Villains,' which features a cast of trusted actors and is set to deliver a comedic storyline.
'The Land of Villains' will premiere on March 19 at 9:50 PM.
