Big Bang's G-Dragon mentioned the group's reformation into a trio.

On the 23rd, during the MBC entertainment program 'Good Day', G-Dragon was seen socializing with his peers born in 1988, including Lim Si-wan, Hwang Kwang-hee, Kim Soo-hyun, and Jung Hae-in.

On that day, Hwang Kwang-hee reminisced about the past, saying to G-Dragon, whom he hadn't seen in a while, "It reminds me of music shows." In response, G-Dragon asked about the members of the group Empire, to which Hwang Kwang-hee replied, "There were 9 members," and expressed his wish, saying, "If I were to be reborn, I would practice singing hard and want to be in a trio."

Big Bang, originally a five-member group, is currently active as a trio after Seungri and Taeyang left. G-Dragon humorously remarked, "We didn't want to be just three," eliciting a bittersweet smile.
