Musical actress Ok Joo-hyun revealed the behind-the-scenes of her transformation into 'Mata Hari', causing over-immersion.
On the 17th at 10 PM, Ok Joo-hyun released the 'Mata Hari' episode of her original content 'Nungsaeng Theater' on her official YouTube channel 'Nung Joo-hyun'.
Before fully immersing herself in the role of Mata Hari (Margaretha) in the musical 'Mata Hari', Ok Joo-hyun expressed, "I prepared this video with gratitude for the audience who loved the musical 'Mata Hari'."
The video, which began with Ok Joo-hyun's question, "What does Mata Hari mean to you?", featured the actors completely immersed in their characters, sharing their perspectives on 'Mata Hari'. Main and supporting actors, including Yoon Sa-bong, Choi Min-cheol, Yoon So-ho, and Kim Joo-ho, as well as the ensemble, unraveled the behind-the-scenes of the production through relay interviews.
Additionally, the video included moments of over-immersion regarding 'group purchases', which brought laughter. Ok Joo-hyun and the 'Mata Hari' team showcased their unique passion by creating group purchase posters, planning the video, and even recording a CM song. This process highlighted not only their teamwork but also their strong chemistry, drawing attention.
At the end of the video, returning to her original self, Ok Joo-hyun stated, "Every work is dear to me, but this one feels particularly special as it seems to connect the life of Mata Hari with my own," showing her deep affection for the play.
Ok Joo-hyun's original content 'Nungsaeng Theater' is an interview series where she fully immerses herself in the character she is portraying in the musical. Previously, in the 'Rebecca' episode, she transformed perfectly into 'Ok Dan-beo' and received a hot response.
