In ‘My Perfect Secretary,’ Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk face another huge crisis.
SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘My Perfect Secretary’ (directed by Ham Joon-ho and Kim Jae-hong, written by Ji Eun) heightened tension at the end of the last broadcast, hinting at a life-and-death crisis for the search firm ‘People’s,’ which Ji-yoon (Han Ji-min) has built tirelessly over the past five years. Viewers are eager to see how she and her reliable support and perfect secretary Eun-ho (Lee Jun-hyuk) will navigate this crisis as they look forward to the 11th episode.
Young-min (Ko Sang-ho), the CEO of ‘Iconic Bio,’ has asked Ji-yoon to take charge of the company’s recruitment. ‘Iconic Bio’ is on the verge of a technology contract with a German pharmaceutical company, and investments have been pouring in, causing the company to grow rapidly. Young-min, who has been focused solely on research, admitted his ignorance in HR and promised shares in the company that would multiply in value if they go public in exchange for handling the recruitment.
However, the promising ‘Iconic Bio’ suddenly fell from grace. Young-min went missing, and allegations of a 20 billion won investment fraud surfaced. It was clear to anyone that an article targeting ‘People’s’ mentioned a “relationship with search firm P.” Journalists flocked to the company to interview Ji-yoon.
Facing a life-and-death crisis, ‘People’s’ is shown in stills with police conducting a raid. The dark expressions on Ji-yoon and Eun-ho’s faces, who cannot take immediate action in the chaotic company, illustrate the seriousness of the situation.
In the preview for episode 11, it seems that Ji-yoon’s rival Hye-jin (Park Bo-kyung), who dislikes her, is behind this incident. Hye-jin, who was said to be with the missing Young-min, is toasting and relishing Ji-yoon’s downfall.
To make matters worse, Hye-jin claims that “People’s will be acquired by ‘Career Way,’” while the largest shareholder of ‘People’s,’ Chairman Woo (Jo Seung-yeon), states, “If it seems like a loss, I will have to make a decision,” revealing the storm of crisis that will hit Ji-yoon. Viewers are left wondering if she can withstand this storm alongside her perfect secretary Eun-ho and how she will protect ‘People’s,’ which she has built with her own blood and sweat.
Although an anxious development is anticipated, the reason viewers can wait for the broadcast with a calm heart is Ji-yoon’s personal growth. As seen in the preview, Ji-yoon has now begun to look each employee in the eye and remember their names, showing that she can care for her people (People’s). Moreover, she has come to love her life, which she once disliked. Ji-yoon has grown as a person, thanks to Eun-ho’s love.
