‘Solo Life’ is set to return in early March, revealing MC Hwang Jung-eum's solo life.

The jointly produced variety show ‘Solo Life’ by SBS Plus and E Channel, which received explosive love last year, has confirmed its schedule for early March and unveiled the first official teaser showcasing Hwang Jung-eum's solo daily life.

Launched on October 29 last year, ‘Solo Life’ recorded phenomenal viewership ratings from its first episode and is regarded as the biggest hit variety show of 2024. It garnered a peak household rating of 1.5% and a peak target rating of 0.6% (combined for both channels, based on paid broadcasting), receiving intense interest from viewers and dominating various portal sites' trending searches and most viewed news every week.

As a successful example of 'good variety', ‘Solo Life’ will once again see Shin Dong-yup and Hwang Jung-eum team up as MCs. Particularly, Hwang Jung-eum, who was the 'empathy fairy' for 'solo sisters' and made viewers laugh and cry with her refreshing remarks during last year's broadcast, is expected to draw significant attention as she reveals her solo life.

In this regard, Hwang Jung-eum shared her feelings about showcasing her real solo life in the first official teaser. She introduced herself as “Hwang Jung-eum, the mom of Wang-sik and Kang-sik” and candidly confessed her feelings upon returning to being single, saying, “After failing at marriage, it felt like a huge disaster, and I thought my life was over.”

She continued, “So what can I do? It’s already happened, and it’s something I chose,” revealing her ‘Jung-eum-like mindset’ of “Let’s just enjoy life as it comes.” Immediately after, her solo life unfolded as she confidently sang while driving alone and showcased her unrestrained dancing instincts at a singing practice studio, capturing attention. Finally, Hwang Jung-eum declared, “Being single is a blessing,” and defined it as “Being single is a blessing!” raising anticipation for the broadcast in March.

With the unveiling of Hwang Jung-eum's ‘solo life’ and the addition of new ‘solo sisters’, the jointly produced variety show ‘Solo Life’ by SBS Plus and E Channel is set to heat up the home theater even more in 2025 and will meet viewers in early March.
