The ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ will be held on Lunar New Year’s Day. Among the seven candidates for the Grand Prize, who will be the star to take home the trophy?
On the 29th, the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ will be broadcast live from the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The awards ceremony was originally scheduled for December 31 of last year but was postponed due to the mourning atmosphere following the Jeju Air incident.
SBS has revealed the seven candidates for the Grand Prize ahead of the first-ever ‘Entertainment Awards’ held on Lunar New Year’s Day. According to the announcement, Yoo Jae-suk, Jeon Hyun-moo, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Hyun-yi, and Kim Jong-kook are competing for the Grand Prize, drawing attention to which star will take home the honor.
A variety of celebratory performances are also anticipated. Jeon Hyun-moo, who recorded a historic 10 million views on the short-form platform with the first teaser for ‘Moodragon’, will participate in the opening magic performance this time.
The stage of Tak Jae-hoon and Ji Ye-eun, who will reinterpret last year’s mega hit ‘Rose – A.P.T’, will also be revealed. In particular, Tak Jae-hoon and Ji Ye-eun are reportedly practicing intensively for this ‘Entertainment Awards’ stage under the names ‘Bruno Taks’ and ‘Neuroze’ respectively.
The ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’, hosted by the three MCs Jeon Hyun-moo, Jang Do-yeon, and Lee Hyun-yi, will be broadcast on SBS at 8:20 PM on the 29th.
