The magazine 'Singles' released an interview video with actor Ji Chang-wook. As the first feature of Singles Japan, Ji Chang-wook showcased his comfortable and genuine charm while discussing his acting philosophy along with a balance game during the editor's interview.
In the balance game conducted before the interview, Ji Chang-wook answered questions honestly, such as "Being lifelong friends with my ideal type VS dating my ideal type for a year and breaking up" and "A door that never closes VS a door that takes 30 minutes to open and close," creating a cheerful atmosphere.
Selected as the main feature of the January 2025 issue of Singles Japan, he expressed, "I am very honored to be given such a great opportunity, and the photoshoot today was fun and much more meaningful." He also left a message of gratitude in Japanese to his fans, saying, "Nice to meet you. I am Ji Chang-wook. Thank you for your support."
When asked, "What does acting mean to Ji Chang-wook?" he described it as "my profession, my ambition, and also a headache." He stated, "There has never been a time when work was easy. Every project has always been difficult, a crisis, and a challenge. Therefore, acting seems to be both a dream I love and a headache."
When asked about his charm points that no one knows, he said, "I may not look like it, but I am sincere. I believe the only way to continue in this job for a long time is through consistency, and that might be my charm that no one knows about."
When asked to compare his life to an autobiography and where he thinks the current page is, Ji Chang-wook replied, "It's about 1/3 of the way through. In the age of 100 years, I think it is exactly 1/3. I also have expectations that there might be another life for me after this."
