Moon Sung-hyun and Lee Seol-ah became the recipients of the Youth Acting Award at the ‘2024 KBS Acting Awards’.
After winning the Youth Acting Award on the ‘2024 KBS Acting Awards’ broadcast on the 11th, Moon Sung-hyun said, “There are only a few hours left as a youth, and I received this award. I would like to thank the director, writers, seniors, staff, and company officials of ‘Beauty and the Pure Man’. I am always grateful to my family and all the fans who support me.”
Lee Seol-ah from ‘Beauty and the Pure Man’ also expressed, “This is my first awards ceremony, and I am grateful just to be invited, but I am thankful for receiving such a big award. I would like to thank the director and writer for helping me portray Dora’s childhood well. It was an honor to act alongside my seniors. I appreciate Ji Hyun-woo uncle for taking care of me and giving me warm words during filming. I will work hard to become an actor who is expected in the future.”
The ‘2024 KBS Acting Awards’, hosted by broadcaster Jang Seong-kyu and actors Seo Hyun and Moon Sang-min, was originally scheduled to be broadcast live on December 31 of last year but was canceled due to the aftermath of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster. The awards ceremony was conducted as a recording at that time.
Nominees for the Grand Prize included Lee Soon-jae from the drama ‘Dog Bark’, Ji Hyun-woo and Lim Soo-hyang from ‘Beauty and the Pure Man’, Kim Jung-hyun and Park Ji-young from ‘Ironing Family’, and Kim Ha-neul from ‘Let’s Grab the Collar Once’.
