In the Coupang Play series 'Family Planning', Lee Soo-hyun played the role of Baek Ji-woo, a 17-year-old girl with a prickly and sensitive personality, who is the daughter of Han Young-soo (played by Bae Doona) and Baek Cheol-hee (played by Ryu Seung-beom).
In the final episode of 'Family Planning', which was released on the 27th, Lee Soo-hyun showcased her charismatic and intense action performance, perfectly decorating the climax of the drama with her crazed gaze. In the drama, Baek Ji-woo confronts Ryu Mi-ok (played by Yoon Ga-i) while meeting Park Jae-gon (played by Kwon Ji-woo) with Baek Ji-hoon (played by Romon), and her eyes once again turn wild at Ryu Mi-ok's provocation, as she bites her lip and approaches with a chilling expression that captivates the audience. She then delivers a thrilling sense of satisfaction and catharsis through fierce retribution.
Lee Soo-hyun proved her presence by deeply portraying the multifaceted charm of Baek Ji-woo, who is prickly and sensitive yet just and strong-willed, with a stable performance. As the drama progressed towards the latter half, she dynamically expressed Baek Ji-woo's transition between moments of madness and clarity, showcasing her overwhelming fear as she faced an unbearable truth, and her fierce determination to retaliate against the villains without holding back.
Through her agency, Lee Soo-hyun expressed her special affection for the work, stating, "It was an infinite honor to be able to work with such great seniors and to learn so much.
