‘Pookdaeng’ will be canceled on the 9th, and a special episode of ‘PD Notebook’ covering the state of emergency will be broadcast.

According to the MBC schedule on the 9th, ‘Pookdaeng’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Pookdaeng’) which was scheduled to air at 9 PM, will be canceled. ‘News Desk’ will be extended by 30 minutes, and a special episode of ‘PD Notebook’ will air from 9:30 PM.

The broadcast will be titled ‘Emergency Coverage: Seoul's Night 2, Coup National Assembly’.

On the 5th, ‘PD Notebook’ aired a special episode titled ‘Emergency Coverage: Seoul's Night, State of Emergency’ capturing the tense situation just two days after President Yoon Suk-yeol declared a state of emergency. This broadcast is expected to highlight the chaotic situation following the declaration of the state of emergency, as well as the vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon that took place in the National Assembly on the 7th.

Meanwhile, during the vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon in the National Assembly on the 7th, only 195 out of 300 members participated in the vote, falling short of the required quorum of 200, resulting in the motion being dismissed. 105 members of the People Power Party only voted on the special law regarding First Lady Kim Gun-hee and then collectively exited before the impeachment vote. Among the members of the People Power Party, only lawmakers Ahn Cheol-soo, Kim Ye-ji, and Kim Sang-wook participated in the vote.
