Tving has once again proven its global competitiveness by winning the Original Production Award at the AACA, Asia's largest content awards ceremony.

The Tving original series ‘Luck Has Gone Awry’ (directed by Pil Gam-seong, written by Kim Min-seong and Song Han-na, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by The Great Show and Studio N, provided by Tving) won the Best Original Production by a Streamer award at the 2024 AACA (Asian Academy Creative Awards) held in Singapore on the 4th (Wednesday). The AACA, held every December, is the largest content awards ceremony in Asia that reviews and awards the year's Asian content market.

Tving, a leading local OTT platform in South Korea, continues to win awards at global content ceremonies with its unique and differentiated original works. ‘The Price of a Body’ became the first Korean drama to win the Best Screenplay award in the long-form competition at the Cannes International Series Festival in 2023, significantly elevating Tving's status. In 2022, ‘Yumi's Cells’ won the Best Original Production by a Streamer award at the AACA, and earlier this year, the original series ‘Island’ won the Best Original Digital Drama Series award at the 28th ATA.

A Tving representative stated, “The consecutive awards and popularity of Tving's original content enhance the status of K-content and are a remarkable achievement on the international stage,” adding, “We will continue to maintain the strong competitiveness of the leading domestic OTT through Tving's unique K-content.”

‘Luck Has Gone Awry’, planned and produced by Studio Dragon and released as a Tving original series, has received acclaim as a well-made genre piece, having been selected as a screening work at the MIPTV in Cannes, France.
