In ‘Groom Class’, Kim Il-woo and Kim Jong-min showcased their charm as top groom candidates.
In the 142nd episode of Channel A’s ‘Recent Men’s Life - Groom Class’ aired on the 4th, Kim Il-woo, known as ‘Gangneung’s Share’, met his close junior actor Park Sun-young in Seongsu-dong, raising the ‘excitement level’ significantly. Additionally, Kim Jong-min, wanting to fulfill his bucket list of “wanting to prepare a birthday table for my girlfriend,” took cooking lessons with the help of Shim Jin-hwa and Kim Ga-yeon, bringing warm laughter to the living room. According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast recorded a viewership rating of 3.1% (nationwide for paid broadcasting households), ranking first among cable channels during the same time slot, and it dominated various portal sites' popular news and search terms, demonstrating its hot popularity.
Kim Il-woo, who appeared in Seongsu-dong after a long time, caught attention with his unique ‘casual yet stylish’ fashion and entered a flower shop. Preparing a bouquet with the ‘birth flower’ for the woman he would meet in Seongsu-dong, Kim Il-woo said, “First, my senior Lee Deok-hwa and the teachers of ‘Groom Class’ told me not to look far but to find someone close, so I came out today to look for (her).” Shortly after, upon arriving at a workshop, he said, “I picked this up on the way~” and handed a bouquet to someone, who turned out to be actress Park Sun-young. Kim Il-woo revealed the reason for visiting Park Sun-young’s studio, saying, “We got to know each other through the program, and while it’s comfortable, sometimes I feel a strange emotion when it’s just the two of us.”
Park Sun-young suggested, “Since we’re at a leather workshop, let’s make a ‘keyring’ together,” and personally tied an apron around Kim Il-woo. Finally, after successfully making a dog couple keyring with Park Sun-young, Kim Il-woo went to a nearby restaurant for a meal. Kim Jong-min declared, “I have a bucket list I want to fulfill for my girlfriend,” stating he would try to “prepare a birthday table himself.” Immediately after, he visited ‘dating manager’ Shim Jin-hwa and Kim Ga-yeon, engaging in an in-depth conversation about his girlfriend and marriage-related topics. When asked about the “reason for deciding to get married,” Kim Jong-min happily replied, “(My girlfriend) makes me feel loved,” and then asked, “Actually, I’m curious, what’s better for marriage: owning a house, renting, or combining households?” Kim Ga-yeon advised from experience, “It doesn’t have to be ‘owned’ from the start.
