Actor Joo Won showcased his impressive Gyeongsang dialect skills.

In the episode aired on the 29th, MBN and Channel S’s ‘The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2’ featured Jeon Hyun-moo, KwangTube, and Joo Won visiting recommended restaurants by viewers.

When Joo Won, who has no ties to Busan, greeted them in dialect, Jeon Hyun-moo compared, saying, “He’s worse than me.” KwangTube, a Busan native, responded, “(Joo Won) is better. I thought I was watching a movie,” to which Jeon Hyun-moo boasted, “I should teach him some Busan dialect.”

The three successfully secured a seafood restaurant recommended by viewers and settled down to chat. Jeon Hyun-moo praised Joo Won’s dialect, thinking he was from Busan. Joo Won shyly mentioned, “When I filmed the movie ‘That Guy,’ I used the Masan dialect. Later, a reporter from Changwon complimented me, saying he thought I was from Changwon.”

Joo Won, who learned the dialect for his role, stated, “I only spoke in dialect for three months and didn’t use Seoul dialect at all.” KwangTube praised him, saying, “You can really feel that he learned a lot; people from the provinces just call it Seoul dialect. People from Seoul call it standard language.”

Meanwhile, ‘The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2’ airs every Friday at 9:10 PM.
