The group Hearts to Hearts is set to solidify their position as ‘2025 Best New Artist’ with their new release ‘Focus’.
Hearts to Hearts (Yeon, Stella, Yuha, Ian, Eina, Jueun, Carmen, Jiwoo) held a showcase to celebrate the release of their first mini-album ‘Focus’ at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 20th.
When asked about their comeback feelings, the members replied, “We have been waiting for this day for a long time,” and added, “This album contains a lot of our new sides. We worked hard on it, so we hope for your great expectations.”
Since their debut in February, Hearts to Hearts has been receiving a lot of attention from global fans.
Carmen expressed, “I am really grateful that so many people like us, and I am spending each day happily,” and smiled, saying, “I hope you will love our first mini-album that we prepared with a happy and grateful heart.”
‘Focus’ consists of six diverse tracks, including the title track ‘Focus’, the single ‘Style’ released in June, and the previously released track ‘Pretty Please’.
Jiwoo described ‘Focus’ as “an album that starts to clearly establish Hearts to Hearts’ unique color. It contains our ambition to show our color and capture attention.”
The title track ‘Focus’ is a house genre song featuring a vintage piano riff. Following their debut song ‘The Chase’ and the single ‘Style’, KENZIE participated in the lyrics, expressing the state of being completely focused on someone sensually.
Jiwoo said, “This is our first attempt at the house genre. I think you will be able to feel the cool and chic charm unique to Hearts to Hearts,” while Yuha added, “The message is that everyone who listens to ‘Focus’ will become focused on us, Hearts to Hearts.”
Stella also mentioned, “When I first heard ‘Focus’, I felt like I was enchanted by a spell,” and said, “We had to show a lot of new charms, so we thought and researched a lot. We practiced hard, so we are ready to show a confident performance.”
Hearts to Hearts’ unique strength that differentiates them from other 5th generation girl groups is their ‘sharp choreography’.
Eina stated, “Since we are a large group, I think our ability to show energy and sharp choreography is our strength. It makes me proud to hear such compliments, and we are continuously working hard to deliver a high-quality performance.”
In particular, Ian has previously sparked a challenge craze with various killing parts such as the ‘Crop part’ of ‘The Chase’, the ‘Let’s walk together, I’m curious part’ of ‘Style’, and the ‘Fleesha Fleesh part’ of ‘Pretty Please’.
When asked for her thoughts, Ian said, “When we practice together, I often think about how to present my part so that the public will like it, and I am grateful that the results are good. I hope you will love the choreography of the chorus part of ‘Focus’ as it is very cool.”
Finally, Eina expressed their goal for this activity, saying, “In our previous activity, we ranked first on music shows, but this time, I want to achieve first place on music charts as well. I hope many people will recognize that ‘Hearts to Hearts is serious about the stage’ as we have worked hard.”
Meanwhile, Hearts to Hearts’ first mini-album ‘Focus’ will be released at 6 PM on the same day.
