Singer Kim Jong-kook's 30th anniversary concert has successfully concluded.

On the 18th and 19th, Kim Jong-kook held 'The Originals' in two sessions at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul, meeting with fans.

This concert was a comprehensive reflection of his 30-year musical journey since his debut in 1995, and it was also his first official meeting with fans after moving to AI Entertech Galaxy Corporation, the agency of G-Dragon. The venue was filled with fans who had been eagerly waiting for his performance, as all tickets sold out immediately after the opening.

The concert opened with a grand VCR and began with performances of 'A Jazz Bar', 'Recollection', and 'Love Forever'. Kim Jong-kook greeted the fans warmly, saying, “I can't believe how time has flown by, and I am now celebrating my 30th anniversary. This stage is possible thanks to your constant support.”

He reminisced about his early days auditioning at singer Tae Jin-ah's office, his activities with the group Turbo, and his solo debut. He shared, “Some people think 'One Man' is my debut song, but actually, my first album 'Happiness' came before that. I was so nervous during the first recording that I took a calming medicine before recording,” and he passionately sang 'Happiness'.

He then talked about the difficult times he faced due to agency issues after his first album, the opportunity that led him to appear on 'Start Dream Team', and the behind-the-scenes of his second album, which was released as a new beginning. He raised the atmosphere by singing hit songs like 'One Man', 'Addiction', and 'Forgive and Remember'.

Continuing with songs from his third album like 'Star, Wind, Sunshine, and Love', 'Stagnation', and the track 'Letter' from his fourth album released before his military enlistment, he showcased his various charms. He also recalled his peak moments in entertainment, sharing episodes from his fifth album activities during shows like 'Family Outing' and 'Running Man'.

He captivated the audience with his sweet tone while singing 'More Today Than Yesterday' and 'This Is the One', and presented the title track 'A Man Is Just Like That' from his last regular album, the seventh album 'Journey Home', along with its behind-the-scenes stories.

In the latter part of the concert, Kim Jong-kook reflected, “We have looked back on the 30-year story of singer Kim Jong-kook. Looking back at the past, it feels surreal. I will continue to present myself in various stages and broadcasts. Please listen to my story even in 40 years and 50 years.”

The highlight followed with a Turbo medley. Songs like 'X', 'Choice', 'Love Is...', 'Black Cat', 'Twist King', 'Good Bye Yesterday', and 'White Love (On the Ski Resort)' filled the venue with excitement. Notably, on the first day, Cha Tae-hyun and Ma Seon-ho joined as guests, while on the last day, Yang Se-chan, Jonathan, and Shori celebrated Kim Jong-kook's 30th anniversary, sharing warm friendships.

After capturing special moments with fans during a photo time, he chose 'My Heart Is Love' as the final song, moving the audience with its heartfelt lyrics.

Even after the concert ended, encore requests continued, and Kim Jong-kook bid farewell to fans by singing 'Lovely' and 'It Can't Get Better Than This'.
