Member Mei of the group Lisenne has clarified the 'abuse allegations' against her agency.
Recently, Lisenne May held a live broadcast to communicate with fans. During the broadcast, loud male voices and female screams were heard, and Mei calmly said, "Hmm? Lisenne is next door... I guess Lisenne is playing."
In response, some netizens commented, "If such sounds are heard outside, one should be startled, but it's strange that she is so calm," "Did Mei go live to ask for help?" and "The screams sound serious. Is she being abused?" leading to the spread of rumors.
As the controversy grew, Mei wrote on the fan community on the 16th, "It seems that too many stories are being distorted from various places, so I want to correct it."
She stated, "The company and the artists are in an equal relationship, and the CEO and staff prioritize and take care of us more than anyone else. We trust and work together with them as much."
She added, "The sounds in the video are indeed noise from outside the building. Since we usually hear alleyway noise quite well, I initially thought it was the members' voices. I am posting this because it is such an absurd matter that I don't even feel the need to clarify."
Meanwhile, Lisenne is a five-member girl group under The Muse Entertainment that debuted in March 2024, known for songs like 'Love Attack', 'Glow Up', and 'Deja Vu'.
