A warm breeze, 'favorable wind' makes you feel good. Wishing for both good and bad things to ride the favorable wind. Let's shed light on the 'favorable wind' that has enriched the entertainment industry.

Composer Dons Spike, who caused controversy with drugs, and Shu, who engaged in high-stakes gambling, reflected on their past through YouTube. Is it a reflection on their wrongdoings, or a cautious wingbeat for their return to broadcasting?

On the 8th, Shu shared her recent updates through her new YouTube channel 'Human That's Shu'. The first video she posted upon opening the channel was titled 'The Controversial Incident, I Will Talk About It All Today', a somewhat sensitive topic. Her husband Lim Hyo-seong was by her side, trying to share the weight of the incident and issues.

This channel is not solely operated by Shu; a separate production team has been assigned to add authenticity. It seemed to be a concept where she wanted to share her story as a single participant.

Shu was embroiled in habitual gambling from August 2016 to May 2018. As a result of this incident, she was sentenced to 6 months in prison with a 2-year probation in 2019 and entered a period of self-reflection. Afterward, she faced difficulties in resuming her entertainment activities and eventually turned to internet broadcasting as a BJ. During that process, her somewhat excessive outfits also became an issue.

Regarding this, Shu candidly expressed her feelings, saying, "I was so unaware of the world and thought, this is life, as I fell apart." Lim Hyo-seong also showed support by encouraging her to "speak honestly about everything," urging her to confront the controversy head-on.

During the reporting of the incident, Shu was seen shedding tears as she listened to her past stories, openly displaying her distress. It was clear that she wanted to start anew by opening up about everything. Along with the video release, Shu asked for fans' support through the comments section, saying, "This is the first time I've shared my story. It took a bit of courage, but now I want to live as my true self."

Before Shu, Dons Spike, who served two years for drug charges, also recently shared his updates after being released. He appeared on JTBC's YouTube talk show 'Genre Man Yeouido' alongside Nam Kyung-pil, the former governor of Gyeonggi Province and head of the drug prevention and healing organization 'Eungoo'. The host emphasized that "they did not appear for a political or entertainment comeback, but to raise awareness about the seriousness of drugs."

On that day, Dons Spike stated, "If I had not been caught and had continued to hide and use drugs, I strongly believe I would probably be dead by now," adding, "I think a lot about my family. There may still be people who feel uncomfortable seeing me, and I apologize once again for causing trouble."

Since both individuals committed clear wrongs with drugs and gambling, their appearances on TV broadcasts are difficult. As they share their stories through YouTube, it remains to be seen how much their sincerity will resonate with the public.

While they seem to have no desire for a broadcasting comeback, their attitude of repenting and wanting to clear their past crimes could be a positive factor for future activities. The public's attention is drawn to the steps taken by these two individuals, who chose to confront the controversy head-on as their first update after self-reflection.
