Hwang Young-woong is practicing continuous sharing through the Korean Red Cross in collaboration with his fan club 'Paradise'.
Hwang Young-woong has been listed as 'Gyeonggi No. 10' in the RCHC. The fan club has also donated 40 million won alongside Hwang Young-woong, engaging in good deeds together.
Hwang Young-woong stated through the official fan cafe, "I want to share the pain of those who have lost their homes," and urged fans to support each other, especially in difficult times.
Meanwhile, SBS's 'Curious Story Y' recently raised allegations that Hwang Young-woong received large cash donations from fans, causing controversy. According to the broadcast, fans supporting Hwang Young-woong raised over 1.5 billion won in just four days through group purchases of merchandise, and it is reported that 6.1 billion won was accumulated within a month.
Amidst this, it was revealed that over 120 million won was withdrawn in cash later, leading to serious suspicions. It was confirmed that this amount was delivered to Hwang Young-woong. In response, Hwang Young-woong's side explained, "It is a voluntary donation from fans, and the settlement was clearly conducted through the central secretary."
