Ju Haknyeon, a former member of the group The Boyz, received a non-prosecution decision regarding allegations of prostitution, while Japanese AV actress Asuka Kirara, who was involved in the scandal, mentioned the circumstances of their meeting.

On the 1st, Asuka posted a video on her SNS addressing the allegations regarding Ju Haknyeon. She stated, “I met with two male friends after two years and had a drinking session. I thought it was just the two of us, but I didn’t know there was a Korean person there, and there were other women besides me. We were all strangers to each other.”

She continued, “I didn’t know Ju Haknyeon was there. No one told me to come because Ju Haknyeon was there. It was the first time we met that day, and he told me he had been a fan of mine for a long time.”

Asuka emphasized, “I have never touched Ju Haknyeon’s body, nor have I hugged him,” adding, “He is handsome, but that doesn’t mean there was any physical relationship at all.”

Regarding Ju Haknyeon’s expulsion from his team due to the scandal, she pointed out, “I think the company might have expelled him to hide something or because they thought it was the right time. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to expel him so quickly.”

Earlier, on the 21st of last month, Asuka stated, “There are various speculations running rampant, but please do not spread false information,” and added, “I have never engaged in prostitution for money in my life, and of course, that is not the case this time either.”

On the 18th of last month, a media outlet reported that Ju Haknyeon met Asuka Kirara at a private bar in Tokyo at the end of May and engaged in skinship such as hugging, causing a stir.

In response, the agency One Hundred said, “We take the seriousness of the matter very seriously and clearly recognize that it is difficult to maintain trust as an artist,” and announced, “After sufficient discussions with the members of The Boyz, we have finalized Ju Haknyeon’s withdrawal from the team and the termination of his exclusive contract.”

Ju Haknyeon acknowledged the meeting with Asuka but denied the allegations of prostitution, claiming his innocence. He stated, “If there is evidence that I engaged in prostitution, please reveal it immediately. I have not withdrawn from the team, nor have I agreed to the termination of my exclusive contract,” escalating the controversy.

Regarding the incident, Ju Haknyeon was reported by an internet user for allegations of prostitution, but the case was not prosecuted due to “insufficient specific reasons or circumstances to initiate an investigation.” Ju Haknyeon announced that he would sue the unidentified person who reported him for false accusation and has already filed a lawsuit against the media outlet and the reporter who first reported the incident.
