Rosé, a member of the group BLACKPINK, has successfully entered the Billboard chart for 36 consecutive weeks, continuing to set a K-pop record.

According to the latest chart (for July 5) preview article released by Billboard on the 2nd (local time), Rosé's 'Apartment' ranked 28th, down three spots from the previous week. Although the ranking has dropped,

this marks 'Apartment's' 36-week consecutive presence on the 'Hot 100' since its release in October last year, setting the longest record among K-pop artists.

Released in October last year, 'Apartment' debuted at 8th place on the 'Hot 100' immediately after its announcement, signaling its commercial success. This ranking is a record for the first K-pop female artist. Although the ranking gradually declined, it made a comeback and gained global popularity. Its highest ranking is 3rd.

'Apartment' is inspired by the widely known 'Apartment Game' in Korea. It is a track from Rosé's solo debut album 'Rosie' and has gained worldwide popularity with its addictive chorus 'Apartment, Apartment~.'

Additionally, 'Apartment' has maintained a high position not only on Billboard but also on the UK Official Singles Chart 'Top 100', entering the chart at 4th place, setting a new record for K-pop female artists.

Rosé, who has achieved such commercial success, has also been named one of the '100 Most Influential People in the World in 2025' by the American weekly magazine Time.

Rosé's first full-length album 'Rosie', which includes 'Apartment', also made waves upon its release. 'Rosie' garnered attention for Rosé's involvement in writing and composing all the tracks and entered the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' at 3rd place, breaking another record for K-pop female artists.

BLACKPINK, to which Rosé belongs, has announced full group activities this year and will hold a concert at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 6.
