Rosé, a member of the group BLACKPINK, has set a new K-pop record by successfully entering the Billboard chart for 35 consecutive weeks.

According to the latest chart (for June 28) preview article released by Billboard on the 24th (local time), Rosé's 'Apartment' is ranked 25th, down one spot from the previous week.

With this, 'Apartment' has made its name on the 'Hot 100' for 35 consecutive weeks since its release in October last year, setting the longest record among K-pop artists.

Released in October last year, 'Apartment' debuted at number 8 on the 'Hot 100' immediately after its announcement, signaling its commercial success. This ranking is a record for the first K-pop female artist. Although it gradually fell in ranking, it made a comeback and gained global popularity. Its highest rank is 3rd.

'Apartment' is inspired by the widely known 'Apartment Game' in Korea. It is a track from Rosé's solo debut album 'R', featuring the addictive chorus 'Apartment, Apartment~' that has gained worldwide popularity.

Additionally, 'Apartment' is maintaining a high position not only on Billboard but also on the UK Official Singles Chart 'Top 100', entering the chart at 4th place, setting a new record for K-pop female artists.

Rosé, who has achieved such commercial success, has also been named in Time magazine's list of '100 Most Influential People in the World in 2025'.

Rosé's first full-length album 'R', which includes 'Apartment', also made waves upon its release. 'R' gained attention for Rosé's involvement in writing and composing all the tracks and entered the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' at number 3, breaking another record for K-pop female artists.

BLACKPINK, to which Rosé belongs, is set to have a full group activity this year, with a concert scheduled at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 6.
