The group TREASURE has been invited to Japan's representative summer special music program '2025 FNS Music Festival Summer'.
According to YG Entertainment on the 18th, TREASURE will perform live on Fuji TV's '2025 FNS Music Festival Summer' on July 2. As part of the third lineup, TREASURE is expected to showcase a performance of BIGBANG's 'FANTASTIC BABY', which has sparked explosive reactions from local fans.
The 'FNS Music Festival' is a representative music program in Japan that airs during the summer and year-end seasons every year. This will be TREASURE's second appearance following last year's year-end broadcast, where they showcased the Japanese version of their regular second album [REBOOT] track 'STUPID' and collaborated with local top artist Koda Kumi, demonstrating their prowess as 'stage artisans'. This time, they are expected to once again showcase their presence with a performance infused with YG's unique hip-hop vibe.
Celebrating their 4th anniversary of debut in Japan this year, TREASURE has been making significant strides in the local music market, standing out in various metrics. They topped the Oricon weekly Western album chart for three consecutive weeks with their special mini album [PLEASURE] released in March, and they have also ranked high in Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales Top 20 for the First Half of 2025', maintaining their unwavering popularity.
Last month, the '2025 TREASURE FAN CONCERT [SPECIAL MOMENT] IN JAPAN' attracted 150,000 spectators, achieving perfect sell-outs for all performances. Notably, this tour's first city marked a record of surpassing 1 million cumulative spectators for their solo tour in Japan, further solidifying their status as 'performance-oriented artists'.
Riding on this wave of enthusiasm, a live album titled '2025 TREASURE FAN CONCERT [SPECIAL MOMENT] IN JAPAN LIVE CD' will also be released. It will include 17 live tracks capturing the emotions of the event, along with special Japanese versions of 'YELLOW' and 'LAST NIGHT'.
To celebrate the release of the live album, a 'MEMORIES OF SPECIAL MOMENT POP-UP STORE' will open in major urban areas in Japan. Starting from Osaka Namba on the release date, June 26 (6/26-7/2), it will sequentially operate in Tokyo Shinjuku and Shibuya (6/28-7/7), featuring exhibitions that allow fans to relive the tour experience and new merchandise themed around the concert's universe, enhancing fan satisfaction.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will continue to engage with global music fans by participating in major festivals, including '2025 FNS Music Festival Summer', '2025 Show! Music Core in JAPAN' at Saitama Belluna Dome on July 5, and 'Summer Sonic 2025' at Osaka Expo 70 Memorial Park on August 16.
