Trot singer Park Gu-yoon has signed an exclusive contract with A2Z Entertainment, which is home to Jo Se-ho, Ji Sang-ryeol, Jung Geun-woo, KCM, and others.
A2Z Entertainment stated on the 22nd, "Park Gu-yoon is an artist with high potential as a broadcaster, not only for his skills and capabilities as a singer but also for his straightforward talk and friendly image. Our company plans to support Park Gu-yoon in expanding his activities into the new realm of broadcasting, and he will do his best to establish himself as the original 'Trot-tainer'."
Park Gu-yoon is a singer-songwriter who officially debuted in 2008 with "Malang Malang." His 2010 release "Ppunigo" was a great success, and he has continued his activities since then, with songs like "Dubaqui" and "Namukkun" being consistently loved. He is also well-known as the son of the legendary trot composer Park Hyun-jin.
Park Gu-yoon has showcased his veteran skills in shows like MBC Every1's "I Am a Trot Singer" and MBN's "Current King of Singers 2." He has also made headlines by perfectly handling genres outside of trot, such as ballads and rock, on MBN's "Lotto Singer" and MBC's "King of Masked Singer." Currently, he is appearing in the "Amor's People Party" segment on MBC Radio's "Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio."
In particular, Park Gu-yoon has become part of the same agency as his close friend Jung Geun-woo, and they are planning and preparing content that combines sports and music together. Park Gu-yoon is so close to Jung Geun-woo that he was the first non-baseball guest to appear on Jung Geun-woo's YouTube channel "Jung Geun-woo's Baseball Life."
Meanwhile, A2Z Entertainment, with which Park Gu-yoon has signed an exclusive contract, is home to various artists including Jo Se-ho, Ji Sang-ryeol, KCM, Dal Soo-bin, and Jung Geun-woo. It is also a comprehensive content company that has produced entertainment programs such as Mnet's "Show Me the Money" series, "Street Woman Fighter Season 2," and works like MBC's "Numbers," SBS's "Treasure Island," and the Genie TV original series "New Recruit 3."
