The group Whib expressed their desire to earn the descriptor of '5th Generation Cheat Key' through this album.
On the afternoon of the 9th, a showcase was held to commemorate the release of Whib's (Jader, Ha-seung, Jin-beom, Yoo-geon, Lee-jeong, Jae-ha, In-hong, Won-jun) fourth single album 'BANG OUT' at Seongam Art Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Returning after 7 months, Whib shared their aspirations with the album release. Jin-beom caught attention by stating, "I want to earn the descriptor of 5th Generation Cheat Key through this album."
He added, "Just like a cheat key that leads to victory in a game, I want this activity to lead to victory and to showcase our cheat key in the 5th generation."
Ha-seung expressed, "I want to earn the descriptor of a recording haven. Since it has a strong beat, I tried to understand how to interpret and perform the song in various moods. You can see a lot of vocal skills in the included tracks. I hope we can show Whib's vocal growth."
Jader shared his hope, saying, "I hope the term 'Whib's Personal Color' comes into existence. It would be great if Whib's unique color is born through this album."
Lee-jeong mentioned, "In 'BANG OUT', I become a character in a game. There will be an addictive charm that makes you want to play again, whether you win or lose after seeing the stage."
Yoo-geon revealed his ambition regarding performance, stating, "We talked a lot among the members about wanting to be No. 1 on music shows with this album. I really want to achieve No. 1 on music shows."
Meanwhile, Whib's fourth single album title track 'BANG OUT' is a hip-hop song that combines powerful heavy metal guitar riffs with dubstep sounds. It features a heavy yet refreshing sound that breaks through frustration, along with a powerful melody and lyrics that add a sense of exhilaration. It will be released on various music streaming sites at 6 PM on the 9th.
