J-Hope of the group BTS has donated 200 million won to the Seoul Asan Medical Center for the development of the children's hospital.
According to Seoul Asan Medical Center on the 18th, J-Hope's donation coincided with his birthday on February 18. He is also reported to have expressed his desire to continue supporting the hospital.
J-Hope stated, "I hope this can be a small help to the children who are suffering even at this moment. I sincerely support that children can dream of a healthy and hopeful future. I also wanted to give back to the 'ARMY' (the fandom name) who always send me so much love. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude once again, and I feel truly meaningful to start donating every year from this birthday."
In 2022, J-Hope also donated 100 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center, demonstrating his unique philosophy of giving.
Seoul Asan Medical Center plans to use J-Hope's donation for improving medical facilities and environments for pediatric patients, as well as for research on severe and rare pediatric diseases.
J-Hope is set to release a new solo song in March. This will be his first album since his discharge last October. He will also hold a solo concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul from the 28th to March 2, kicking off his first solo world tour 'Hope on the Stage.'
