The group IVE has achieved 5 consecutive million seller status.
According to Hanteo Chart, the largest album sales tracking site in South Korea, IVE's new release 'IVE EMPATHY', which was released on the 3rd, recorded first-week sales of 1,048,048 copies. This is the highest first-week sales record among K-pop albums released this year.
With this, IVE has once again surpassed 1 million in sales following their third single 'After LIKE', first full album 'I’ve IVE', first mini album 'I’VE MINE', and second mini album 'IVE SWITCH', marking their status as '5 consecutive million sellers'.
Previously, 'IVE EMPATHY' made headlines by ranking 3rd on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart immediately after its release. It also topped the iTunes 'Top K-pop Album Chart' in 15 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and Germany.
The title tracks 'REBEL HEART' and 'ATTITUDE' are also achieving great success.
With 'REBEL HEART', which was pre-released on the 13th of last month, IVE topped the Melon TOP100 at 10 AM on the 11th, and also ranked 1st on the HOT100 (100 days after release, 30 days) while dominating the real-time, daily, and weekly charts on Bugs, Genie, FLO, and Vibe's Today Top100 chart, signaling the birth of another 'mega hit'. Additionally, they achieved a total of 9 wins on domestic music shows and made it onto major global charts such as Billboard's 'Global 200', 'Global (excluding the US)', and the UK Official Chart.
'ATTITUDE' is also continuing its upward trend alongside IVE's music show activities. IVE captivated K-pop fans with their stable live performances and addictive choreography, including the 'Wonyoung Turn', 'Wiper Dance', and 'Raging Guinea Pig' parts, leading 'ATTITUDE' to rank 1st on Vibe's domestic rising chart and 2nd on Bugs' real-time, daily, and weekly charts, securing a top position on major domestic music charts.
