Rapper Iron (real name Jung Heon-cheol) has been gone for 4 years.
Iron was found dead in January 2021 in a flower bed of an apartment in Jung-gu, Seoul. He was taken to the hospital but could not be revived. He was 29 years old.
Born in 1992, Iron gained recognition by finishing as the runner-up in the Mnet survival program 'Show Me the Money 3' in 2014.
Afterward, Iron faced controversy in 2016 due to marijuana charges and assaulting his girlfriend. In 2020, he was also accused of assaulting a minor student who was learning music from him. His untimely death came just before the trial for the incident, adding to the tragedy.
