Sumin from the group StayC is making her screen debut.
Sumin will appear in the movie 'Guisy' (directed by Hong Won-ki), which is set to be released on the 17th, taking her first steps as rookie actress Bae Sumin.
The movie 'Guisy' depicts a chilling story about people who venture into the ghost trading market, Guisy, to obtain what they cannot have when the fox window opens.
Sumin plays the role of Soo-yeon, the daughter of Hee-jin (played by Seo Young-hee), who risks everything to send her daughter to a prestigious university. Sumin is expected to vividly portray the character of Soo-yeon, a student obsessed with grades and college entrance exams, elevating the realistic anxiety into a spine-chilling fear.
As Sumin challenges acting for the first time since her debut, she will express delicate yet intense emotional lines, showcasing a different charm from her performances on stage. There is growing interest in how Sumin, who has been loved for her bright and confident energy, will complete her character in the horror genre with her own unique style.
