Kwon Hyuk revealed his strange experiences while filming 'Homecam'.
On the 26th, a screening and press conference for the movie 'Homecam' was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Director Oh Se-ho and actors Yoon Se-ah, Kwon Hyuk, and Yoon Byeol-ha attended.
There is a saying that if you see a ghost on set, the horror movie will be a 'hit'. In this regard, Kwon Hyuk said, "I had such severe headaches while filming the shaman scene. I thought it was tough, but the shaman who consulted us came to the set and asked if I was okay."
He continued, "When I asked how he knew, he placed his hand on my back and suddenly I got goosebumps. It was a truly amazing experience, and I started to wonder if ghosts are real."
Director Oh Se-ho also shared, "We often filmed with home cameras on set. To control that, we would connect via Wi-Fi and operate 3-4 cameras simultaneously, but every time we filmed, the home camera would turn off or the record button wouldn't work. I thought it was a Wi-Fi issue, but even after installing a new router, the home camera would turn off every time we filmed a ghost scene, which scared the staff."
'Homecam' is a 24-hour close-up horror film where insurance investigator Seong-hee (Yoon Se-ah) becomes trapped in fear after witnessing a strange presence through a home camera installed in a house while investigating a mysterious death. It will be released on September 10.
