According to the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on the 8th, 'How to Train Your Dragon' attracted 165,319 viewers the previous day, maintaining its crown for the second consecutive day. The cumulative audience count stands at 391,308.
The film 'Hi-Five' (directed by Kang Hyung-cheol) has slipped to second place. On the same day, it gathered 134,335 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience count to 1,040,360.
Released on the 30th of last month, 'Hi-Five' is a comic action film that tells the story of five individuals who accidentally gain different superpowers through organ transplants and encounter those who seek to exploit their abilities. The break-even point is approximately 2.9 million.
In third place is 'Mission: Impossible - Final Reckoning' (directed by Christopher McQuarrie), which attracted around 87,000 viewers, resulting in a cumulative audience count of 2,935,000.
The new film 'Sinmyeong' starring Kim Gyu-ri maintained its fourth place. On the same day, it recorded around 65,000 viewers, with a cumulative audience count of approximately 331,000.
