Rising Stars Jo Dae-hee and Kwon Ip-sae Attend Jeonju International Film Festival Together

Rising stars Jo Dae-hee and Kwon Ip-sae will attend the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival.

On the 30th, Jo Dae-hee's agency, Workhouse Company, announced, "Jo Dae-hee and Kwon Ip-sae will be attending the Jeonju International Film Festival, which opens today."

Jo Dae-hee will make his debut at the Jeonju International Film Festival with the independent film '3670' (directed by Park Jun-ho), which has been selected for the Korean Competition section.

'3670' tells the story of a North Korean defector, Cheol-jun, who has been hiding his gay identity and finds the courage to seek out the South Korean gay community. Jo Dae-hee plays the role of Hyun-taek, who is at the center of the community meetings, and he will not only attend the red carpet and opening ceremony but also meet the audience during the stage greeting and GV on May 1.

Kwon Ip-sae will be attending the festival with the short film 'Rib' (directed by Lim Ha-yeon).

Having starred in the independent film 'Unknown' (directed by Lee Don-koo), Kwon Ip-sae's attendance marks her third consecutive year at the Jeonju International Film Festival, drawing even more attention. 'Rib' depicts the events that unfold when a man is created from the rib of a woman named I-bom, a role played by Kwon Ip-sae.

'Rib' was invited to the Korean Cinema short section of the Jeonju International Film Festival last year and will also participate in the 'Intimacy Coordinator' related event on May 2 this year.

An intimacy coordinator is a profession that assists in directing scenes involving sexuality in films, dramas, and plays, and 'Rib' is the first independent film in Korea to feature an intimacy coordinator.
