Comedian Lee Kyung-sil announced that she has lost her older sister due to a brain hemorrhage.
On the 17th, Lee Kyung-sil shared on social media, "I returned yesterday after a 10-night, 11-day trip to Japan," and added, "My mother has one son and four daughters, and my eldest sister passed away this morning."
She continued, "I informed my 96-year-old mother about this news during lunch, and our home is truly in turmoil. To comfort my mother, her children—one son, three daughters, and two sons-in-law, along with my daughter and son—are all anxious." She recalled, "My older sister said she would come to our house. That day, she collapsed due to a brain hemorrhage and was hospitalized, passing away four days later. I cried along with my mother as she wailed."
Lee Kyung-sil expressed, "I couldn't contain my sadness when my father passed away; I wonder if my mother can endure this. My older sister's children need to say goodbye to their mother while being able to grieve fully, but I worry about how my grandmother will handle it. Will they be able to grieve properly? Remember the joyful moments we had traveling with my older sister and cherish those beautiful memories. It's painful to think of the last memory being her funeral," she shared, conveying the somber atmosphere.
Lee Kyung-sil concluded, "There is no order in how we leave this world; that is life. I feel a strong urge for everyone to take care of their health and live each day with gratitude. I pray for my older sister's soul to rest in peace."
