'Opposition' 70,000 tickets sold, ranking 1st... Ma Dong-seok's reservation rate 2nd [MK Box Office]

The movie 'Opposition' (directed by Hwang Byeong-guk) has maintained its box office throne for two consecutive days, while 'Screen Hero' Ma Dong-seok has also begun to heat up.

According to the integrated computer network of movie ticket sales by the Korean Film Council on the 18th, 'Opposition' attracted 73,580 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience to 178,082.

'Opposition' is a crime action film that unfolds as a broker designing the drug trade in South Korea, a prosecutor aiming for higher status, and a detective who is committed to eradicating drug crimes, all with different objectives. Directed by Hwang Byeong-guk, who is also an actor, the film stars Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-joon, Ryu Kyung-soo, and Chae Won-bin. The break-even point is approximately 2.5 million.

'Victory' (directed by Kim Hyung-joo) also maintained its 2nd place. On the same day, it attracted 13,146 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience to 1,892,922.

The theatrical version of Attack on Titan: The Final Season - The Last Attack also held onto 3rd place. 4th place went to 'Bridget Jones's Diary: New Chapter', and 5th place to 'Maria', attracting 6,323, 2,834, and 1,725 viewers respectively.

As of 9 AM, the real-time reservation rate rankings are 'Opposition' (over 85,000 reservations), 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' (over 38,000), and 'Violation' (over 26,000).
