‘Lobby’ Kang Hae-rim shared her thoughts on playing a golf player.
On the afternoon of the 25th, a screening and press conference for the movie ‘Lobby’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Actors Kim Eui-sung, Kang Hae-rim, Lee Dong-hwi, Park Byeong-eun, Kang Mal-geum, Choi Si-won, Cha Joo-young, and Kwak Sun-young attended.
Kang Hae-rim described her character, saying, “She was a professional player in her prime but then experienced the yips. Following her father's lead, she eventually participates in business golf of her own volition, facing many hardships and challenges along the way.”
She continued, “Director Ha Jung-woo wanted me to have the form of a professional player, so I practiced my form for more than 5 hours a day for 5 months. I felt a lot of inadequacies, but I tried my best to make it as similar as possible.”
‘Lobby’ tells the story of a startup CEO, Chang-wook (played by Ha Jung-woo), who, knowing only research, begins his first-ever lobby golf to secure a 4 trillion won national project. The film is set to be released on April 2.
