Actor Ha Jung-woo will collaborate with Gong Hyo-jin for his fourth directorial work.
On the 11th, Ha Jung-woo's agency, Workhouse Company, stated, "Ha Jung-woo is preparing for his directorial work 'The People Upstairs' (tentative title)," adding, "Gong Hyo-jin is expected to star."
'The People Upstairs' is a new directorial work by Ha Jung-woo, following his films 'Roller Coaster', 'Heo Sam-gwan', and 'Lobby', and it tells the story of two couples who meet due to noise from the upstairs apartment while having dinner.
Ha Jung-woo will participate as both the director and the lead actor. This will be their third collaboration with Gong Hyo-jin, as they previously worked together in the films 'Love Fiction' and '577 Project'.
'The People Upstairs' is set to begin filming in January 2025.
