The legendary variety show 'Infinite Challenge' is reviving its segment Infinite Company on YouTube.
Today (17th) at 6:25 PM, the new web variety show 'Sewage Treatment Plant' will be released on MBC's official YouTube channel 'Oh Bunsun Sak'.
'Sewage Treatment Plant' is a spin-off program that continues the universe of the popular segment 'Infinite Company' from 'Infinite Challenge'. Park Myung-soo, who has been promoted from manager to director, and Jung Joon-ha, a long-time section chief, will consult and solve the life concerns of 'MuDo Kids' (fans of 'Infinite Challenge').
Previously, Park Myung-soo and Jung Joon-ha promoted the program on SNS on the 15th, saying, "You can meet us every Friday at 6:25 PM, so please give us unconditional and biased praise, support, and encouragement. We are also accepting applications from MuDo Kids who want to chat and process their concerns, so please pay attention."
'Infinite Challenge' first aired in 2006 and ended in 2018. Having been loved as a legendary variety show for 13 years, fans have expressed expectations that they might reunite this year, which marks the 20th anniversary.
Park Myung-soo mentioned last year on KBS CoolFM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show' that he heard from MBC executives that they are preparing a special broadcast for the 20th anniversary of 'Infinite Challenge', raising hopes for a reunion.
It remains to be seen whether the return of the iconic duo 'Ha and Su' (Jung Joon-ha, Park Myung-soo) to YouTube will be the cornerstone of a full reunion of 'Infinite Challenge'.
The 'Sewage Treatment Plant' will start its first release on the 17th at 6:25 PM and will be released every Friday thereafter.
