
Comedian Hwang Young-jin paid tribute to the late Jeong Se-hyeop, who has passed away.
On the 7th, Hwang Young-jin stated on Instagram, “A junior I liked has left us. He was a great actor and a really kind junior.”
He continued, “He was the junior who made me laugh the most,” and urged, “I hope many people will pray for Se-hyeop to go to a good place. And please remember the comedian Jeong Se-hyeop.”

The news of Jeong Se-hyeop's passing was reported on the 6th. The cause of death is said to be a heart attack.
Jeong Se-hyeop debuted as a comedian in 2008 through SBS's 10th special recruitment and was active in shows like 'People Who Find Laughter' (also known as 'Uchatsasa') and 'Gag Tonight'. His most notable character was 'Chow Chow', which gained popularity in 'Gag Tonight' with a dog costume.
In 2022, he appeared on a YouTube channel and revealed that he had battled leukemia but was cured after a bone marrow transplant. He made a comeback last year with 'Gag Concert', which added to the sadness of his passing.
The deceased's funeral is set up at the 2nd room of the Hambeoksan Funeral Home in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, with the funeral scheduled for 7:40 AM on the 9th.
