The winning special song 'Your Story' from 'Current King of Singers 2' is a collaboration between maestro Yoon Myung-sun, who has composed numerous hit songs, and national representative trot singer Park Seo-jin. With a mature melody, profound lyrics, and poignant singing, 'Your Story' is set to unleash Park Seo-jin's charm and change the landscape of autumn trot music.
Ahead of the release of 'Your Story', which will be available today (the 8th) at 6 PM, reigning champion Park Seo-jin held a written interview revealing fans' reactions, his dreams, and future plans.
Park Seo-jin stated, "I tried to sing calmly and without emotion. I hope 'Your Story' is listened to when you need peace of mind or comfort. While I hope my female fanbase enjoys it, I also encourage male listeners to give it a try and muster the courage to sing it for their loved ones at karaoke."

Q1. 'Your Story' was written and composed by Yoon Myung-sun, who was also the master of 'Current King of Singers 2'. What differences did you notice when you met as a producer?
Composer Yoon Myung-sun has a style like a bouncy ball that can go anywhere. Even during private conversations, I could see inspiration striking, which made me truly feel his artistic side. Especially during the recording, he conducted me as if I were an instrument, and I sang according to his direction. At first, I was half worried and half doubtful, thinking, 'Will this work?' but surprisingly, I sang well. I considered it a new experience.
Q2. At the 'Current King of Singers 2' encore concert, fans were seen shedding tears while listening to 'Your Story'. What do you think touched their hearts?
I still don't know for sure, but perhaps they initially thought it was a calm and slow song, and upon hearing the lyrics, they felt comforted. I think the lyrics resonated with what they wanted to convey to their loved ones or what they wished to hear.
Q3. What aspects did you pay attention to while singing 'Your Story', and who do you hope will listen to it?

I plan to sing 'Your Story' at the Korea-Japan TOP7 joint concert. If possible, I am considering singing 'Your Story' with Japanese lyrics for the Japanese audience. I also want to show my Janggu performance being used as an instrument rather than just a dance. I want to showcase both the joy and the sorrow through my singing with our traditional instrument, the Janggu.
