Comedian Kim Won-hyo paid tribute to his late junior, Jeong Se-hyeop.

On the 7th, Kim Won-hyo posted on his social media, "I sincerely wish for the deceased's soul to rest in peace. In a freer place, do comedy more comfortably... Don't cry, just live laughing..."

Earlier that day, it was reported that Jeong Se-hyeop passed away on the 6th at the age of 41.

A representative from the Broadcasting Comedians Association stated in a phone call with Yonhap News that "the cause of death is not certain, but it is not related to leukemia, and heart failure is presumed to be the cause."

Jeong Se-hyeop debuted as a comedian through SBS's 10th special recruitment in 2008 and was active in shows like 'People Who Find Laughter' (also known as 'Uchatsasa') and 'Gag Tonight'. His most notable character was 'Chow Chow', which gained popularity in 'Gag Tonight' with a puppy costume.

In 2022, he appeared on a YouTube channel and revealed that he had battled leukemia but was cured after a bone marrow transplant. He made a comeback last year with 'Gag Concert' and was actively working.

In particular, he performed as 'Chow Chow' in the 'Great Battle of the Century' corner, where comedians from KBS and other broadcasting companies compete in comedy, after 13 years, but the sudden news of his passing added to the sorrow.

The deceased's funeral hall is set up in Room 2 of the Hambeak Mountain Funeral Home in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and the funeral will be held at 7:40 AM on the 9th. The burial site is Hambeak Mountain Memorial Park.
