Singer Ryu Philip (real name Park Philip) shared the recent news about his biological sister, Park Suzy, who has been in the spotlight for her dramatic weight loss.
Recently, Ryu Philip posted a video titled ‘Clarifying Misunderstandings and Questions About Sister Suzy’ on his YouTube channel, engaging with his fans.
In the video released that day, which was a recording of a live broadcast hosted by Ryu Philip, fans asked, “Why hasn’t Suzy been seen lately?”
Previously, Mina and Ryu Philip gained attention for helping Park Suzy, who weighed 150kg, with her diet, but questions arose as Park Suzy has appeared less frequently in videos recently.
Ryu Philip responded, “You can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to do. People shouldn’t be forced. Just because she lost weight down to 80kg and looks healthy doesn’t mean she’s happy, and that’s something I’ve come to realize.”
He continued, “Many people misunderstand, but since Suzy said she wants to stop, we can no longer continue. Suzy said she doesn’t want to exercise. While we have supported her a lot, you can’t control someone who doesn’t want to do it,” he candidly revealed.
He also emphasized, “If she finds it difficult and doesn’t want to do it, how can we force her?”
