Broadcaster Jung Ga-eun candidly shared her thoughts on the label of 'resembling Song Hye-kyo' and her experiences with plastic surgery.
On the 1st, a video titled 'Jung Ga-eun's second life choice after divorce that even her close friend Jang Young-ran didn't know' was released on the YouTube channel 'A-class Jang Young-ran'.
The two well-known friends in the entertainment industry had a candid and cool conversation about various topics, including plastic surgery.
When Jang Young-ran said, "You must have been popular since you were born and raised in Busan and graduated from there," Jung Ga-eun responded, "I didn't have this face when I was born," mentioning 'plastic surgery' first. She then added, "You and I have really put in a lot of effort, haven't we?" and laughed.
Jang Young-ran confessed, "I've had double eyelid surgery four times," to which Jung Ga-eun replied, "I did the same. I've had my eyes done four times too."
As photos from their school days were revealed, adding to the laughter, Jung Ga-eun remarked about being famous for resembling 'Song Hye-kyo' early in her career, saying, "I can only apologize to her," which elicited another round of laughter.
She shared, "Before becoming known for resembling her, I was working as a home shopping fashion model and did various advertisements. I even shot a beer commercial with Jang Dong-gun," and added, "I wanted to be a flight attendant, so I went to an academy, but I gave up due to a plane accident. I ended up going to university with just enough scores, majoring in trade. However, there was a fashion design department at the school, and since I was tall, I ended up modeling for graduation projects and got into this line of work."
After gaining fame from her appearance on 'Star King', she recalled, "That was when my face was 'complete'. I'm the type who quietly does what I'm told, so Kang Ho-dong knew that and made me do all sorts of ridiculous things."
