Oh In-hye was found in a state of cardiac arrest by a friend at her home in Songdo International City, Incheon, on the morning of September 14, 2020, and was taken to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead later that afternoon. She was 37 years old.
It is particularly tragic as she had opened a YouTube channel titled 'Oh~In-hye's Wonderful Life!' just two days before her death, where she communicated with fans and showed a bright demeanor.
She debuted in 2011 with the film 'The Crime of Our Neighbors.' She gained public recognition with the film 'Red Vacation, Black Wedding,' which was released that same year.
She drew attention at the 2011 Busan International Film Festival by wearing a daringly revealing dress. She later appeared in films such as 'A Walk in Master Class' (2013), 'Living Life' (2013), 'Wish Taxi' (2013), 'No Breathing' (2013), and 'Design' (2014).
While she primarily worked on the screen, she also reached TV audiences through dramas like 'Ma-ui' (2012) and 'Drama Special - Returning Home - Firefly Festival' (2012). She continued her activities through variety shows such as 'Dating Without Me' (2017) and 'Oh In-hye's Secret' (2018).
