
The 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train' has reclaimed the box office throne, just one day after being dethroned by 'Face'.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the 13th, 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train' (directed by Haruo Sotozaki) attracted over 54,000 viewers the previous day, surpassing a cumulative audience of 4.18 million.
'Face' has fallen to 2nd place, attracting about 53,000 viewers on the same day, losing the throne by a margin of about 1,000.
The film, which has been praised for its return to the 'original universe', tells the story of 'Im Young-kyu', who has become a master craftsman in the field of traditional arts, and his son 'Im Dong-hwan', who unravels the mystery of his mother's death buried for 40 years. Park Jung-min, Kwon Hae-hyo, Shin Hyun-bin, Lim Sung-jae, and Han Ji-hyun deliver outstanding performances.
In 3rd place is the resurgent 'F1: The Movie' (directed by Joseph Kosinski), which attracted over 18,000 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience to approximately 4.979 million.
As of 7 AM on that day, the real-time reservation rate leader is 'Can't Help It', with a reservation rate of 29.1% and over 189,000 tickets sold. Following it are 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train' and 'Face'.
