Actress Shin Ye-eun expressed her affection for Kim Da-mi.
On the afternoon of the 11th, the press conference for JTBC's weekend drama ‘A Hundred Memories’ (written by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Bo-ram, directed by Kim Sang-ho) was held at The Link Hotel in Sindorim, Seoul. Attendees included Kim Da-mi, Shin Ye-eun, Heo Nam-jun, and director Kim Sang-ho.
‘A Hundred Memories’, which will premiere on the 13th at 10:40 PM, is a newtro youth melodrama that depicts the shining friendship between 1980s bus guide Ko Young-rae (played by Kim Da-mi) and Seo Jong-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun), as well as their fateful first love for a man named Han Jae-pil (played by Heo Nam-jun).
Shin Ye-eun plays the role of Seo Jong-hee, a new guide who appears like a comet at the Born to Be Girl Crush, Cheong Ah Transportation. Seo Jong-hee becomes the lifelong best friend of Ko Young-rae.
Shin Ye-eun said, “Sister Da-mi has a calmness and warmth. It was a great help in adapting to the character and creating Jong-hee.”
She continued, “When I watch Da-mi’s acting, I often find myself in awe. I’ve talked a lot about it with friends and people around me. When I have worries or sometimes doubt if I can do well, when I make eye contact with (Kim Da-mi), I end up performing beyond my expectations. I felt for the first time that I naturally became Jong-hee without even thinking about the emotions. I think Kim Da-mi is an amazing person.”
She added, “Kim Da-mi and Ko Young-rae are similar. Just as Jong-hee comes to love Young-rae, I have come to support Kim Da-mi in her life. I hope she is happy, and I sometimes feel like I want to scold anyone who bothers her. It’s affectionate and precious.”
‘A Hundred Memories’ is set to premiere on the 13th at 10:40 PM.
