The late Ahn Jae-hwan was found dead in a vehicle parked in a residential alley in Hake-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, on September 8, 2008. He was 36 years old.
Born in 1972, he debuted as an MBC 25th public talent in 1996, appearing in dramas such as 'Live Right' and the movie 'If You Get Shot, You Die.'
He married fellow broadcaster Jeong Seon-hee in 2007, but passed away just a year later. It is known that he struggled with financial difficulties due to the establishment of a talent agency and film production at that time.
Jeong Seon-hee went through a tough time after losing her husband just a year into their marriage. Later, she revealed on a past broadcast, "I knew he had debts even during our dating period. I was anxious, but I loved Ahn Jae-hwan, and I thought I could solve everything. It was arrogance to think I could handle it."
Recently, on her YouTube channel, she recalled, "When that incident happened, my nephew was about 4 or 5 years old. I was in such shock that I was on the brink of death. I was hospitalized at that time," reflecting on the difficult period.
